Food Safety Awareness

This course can be delivered via zoom or at your premises


If you work with or around food, this training is ideal for you. You can learn a general understanding of good food safety practices. At the end of this training, you’ll be able to safely clean products to use around food and ensure good personal hygiene habits. Also, you’ll learn how to sanitise food equipment and adequately address any allergies.

At the end of this course your staff will be able to

  • To explore the means of preventing food poisoning and the spread of infection in the workplace,
  • Know where to find legislation and guidelines regarding food hygiene and infection control,
  • Understand possible hygiene hazards and risks specific to food preparation,
  • Safe storage and temperature control,
  • Describe the differences between cleaning and disinfecting the workplace.
